Miodrag Petrović Čkalja

Miodrag Petrović Čkalja was a Serbian stage, film, television, and radio actor whose career helped define Yugoslav comedy in the postwar era. He became widely known through Radio Belgrade’s “Veselo veče” and later television productions including *Servisna stanica*, *Kamiondžije*, and *Vruć vetar*. Born in Kruševac, he also received major national honors, including the Sterija Award and the Nušić Lifetime Achievement Award.
