Mary Parker Follett

Mary Parker Follett (1868–1933) was an American social worker, civic reformer, writer, and management consultant whose work connected democratic participation with organizational life. Her books The New State and Creative Experience developed ideas about community, cooperation, constructive conflict, and the human dimensions of administration. Her later lectures and writings helped establish her as an important early thinker in organizational theory and collaborative leadership.
