Laxmanrao Kirloskar

Laxmanrao Kirloskar (1869–1956) was an Indian industrialist who founded the Kirloskar Group. He helped introduce iron ploughs and chaff cutters to support agricultural modernization, laying the foundation for a major Indian engineering enterprise. His legacy also includes Kirloskarwadi, an industrial township associated with the group’s early development.
